Dr. Fu-Kuo Chang is a professor and the Director of structures and Composites Laboratory in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University. He received his PhD. from University of Michigan in 1983.
His specialities include structural health monitoring SHM); multifunctional materials and structures; and damage tolerance and design of composite structures.
He is the editor-in-Chief of the international Journal of Structural Health Monitoring, the recipient of 2004 SHM Life-time achievement award by boeing Company, and the 2010 SPIE smart Structures/NDE Life-Time Achievement award; Fellows of AIAA and ASME.
